Description
Vials are designed based on how much sample needs to be held and how much sample needs to be extracted. Vials with mandrel interiors are designed to extract the maximum amount of usable sample matrix by ensuring that the autosampler needle is guided to the bottommost point, leaving a minimum residual volume (dead volume).
